Arundel stumpery

  1. I absolutely love a stumpery – they tend to be planted with shady plants, in woody corners, so it’s unusual to see them with lupins and euphoria which both like a free-draining soil. Very inspiring!

  2. I saw my first stumpery on a visit to Highgrove House earlier this month. I find them quite whimsical and fully expect to see a fairy or goblin hiding within the shadows. I found your blog via Pinterest and will happily spend time visiting again.
